Origin
Blurb was founded by students at Marshall University in 2024 after seeing how difficult it could be to choose a professor with only a course title, meeting time, and catalog description. The goal was simple: give students a clearer, more balanced sense of the people teaching their classes before they register.
How It Works
Blurb’s introduction videos can be linked directly into a school’s scheduling pages, allowing students to hear from professors without leaving the registration experience. The same videos are also available in Blurb’s public Faculty Library for students who want to browse by school, department, or professor.
